Season Round-up

As the first Chicago Empire FC season comes to a close, now is a great time to recognize some of the fantastic things we achieved as a club in year one.  The 2016 season started with over 400 players from all around the Chicagoland area coming to tryout for Empire FC.  The result of tryouts yielded seventeen teams, consisting of boys and girls U8 to U17 age-groups.

Our club then competed at some of the highest levels in the state and region:  IWSL, NPL, NISL, State Cup, Presidents Cup, NPL Girls Showcase & Las Vegas Mayors Cup.

Some of this year's hardware can be seen below.

The Future 2017/18 Season

  • Year two will start with a total of 24 teams (7 team increase!)
  • Over 270 players now in the club for 2017/18 season
  • Hiring of two full-time directors to facilitate club operations
  • Our first teams will start fundraising for trips abroad

New Puma Youth Training Facility

This facility will be main training and game hub for all of our U8-U12 boys and girls teams.  This investment in our club and our players is in excess of twenty-thousand dollars; including major field improvements, a fence surrounding the location, irrigation and a goalkeeper training pad.  The new facility should be ready around mid-fall 2017!
